Healing the water element, heals your emotions, feelings, aesthetic sensibilities, fulfillment
of the sexual urge, ability to procreate etc. You also imbibe and develop the properties and special qualities of water which
are cleansing, purifying and rejuvenating.
One can heal
the water tattva by these simple exercises which can be woven into the fabric of your daily life.
1. Drink
a lot of water. At least 2 litres is recommended. As soon as you wake up in the morning it is good to down about 3-4 glasses
of water. The water can be stored at night with a few tulsi or neem leaves added to it . The first glass should be warm water
with a teaspoon of honey added to it. This aids in washing out toxins from the body during the morning eliminations.
2.
Water can be filled into a bottle or glass and energized by placing your hands over it and breathing slowly and deeply, whilst
intending, that the energy charge from your hands, emanates and fills this water with healing qualities. Repeating a mantra,
with your hands on the glass of water, would also add to the healing potency of the water.
3. Whenever you wash your
hands with water, intend and visualize washing away ill health, irritation and hatred into the wash basin. Mentally resolve
that the negativity never comes back to you again.
4. Use bathing as an opportunity to connect to the healing energies
of water. Begin your bath with warm water and end it with cool water. Bathing salt and a few drops of an aroma oil can be
added to the water. While pouring water over yourself, or standing under your shower, affirm that water is purifying, cooling
and energizing your body and mind. Request the water to bless you with its humility and intrinsic nature of flowing from high
to low levels, and, yet rising up as vapour, as an aspiration to realize the divine.
5 Offering water in ritualistic
prayer is symbolic of your finite self, offering its feelings of love and devotion to the divine within.
